Christmas in Washington, DC

The Pattersons and Tyes decided to make a cold and wintry trip to DC to see Bud, Melissa (with baby Tye) and Penelope (the cat). The road trip was 13.5 hours, but the kids and Noel were great. Marci took some bug guy's sandwich at Subway, but we escaped altercation. The traditional "Joke Gifts" were opened by all. We saw the Museum of Natural History (with a guided tour from Uncle Bear), the Zoo, the White House, Capitol and several other monuments. We paid for wearing shorts in Florida on Christmas by freezing our bunners off. Where will those zany Pattersons go next?

Christmas in Florida

Christmas in Florida was great! It was a little chilly the night we went to Disney to see the lights and fake snow (Brrrr). Christmas day was shorts weather and the kids were surprised. It took a while to wake up the J-Train, but not Bug. Sherilyn's favorite gift was her American Girl doll and John loved his trampoline. Merry Christmas!

Petting Zoo

Our day at the petting zoo included Sherilyn milking a cow and catching a chicken. John enjoyed riding the train and a pony.

Sherilyn's New Cat

Sherilyn's early Christmas present was a kitten named Noel. She discovered her in a basket under the tree. Oh man, was she happy! She refers to her as the "Pretty Kitty" and loves to hold her.

Autism Walk

We had a beautiful day at the Autism Walk around Crane's Roost Lake. We did three laps (longer than most) totalling 4.5 miles. While we were all very proud, Sherilyn was the Grand Marshall for the Patterson Family. She loves her brother.
